Unfriended is a 2014 movie directed by Leo Gabriadze and starring Shelley Hennig (who you know from Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous if you're a cool person who likes things that are hilarious), Moses Storm, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Jacob Wysocki, Courtney Halveron, and Heather Sossaman. Laura Barns (Heather Sossaman) killed herself at her high school after her classmates posted an embarrassing video of her (entitled "LAURA BARNS KILL URSELF") online. The movie takes place on Blaire Lily's (Shelley Hennig) laptop exactly one year after Laura's death when Blaire begins receiving messages from Laura's Facebook account.
Having everything take place on a computer screen is an interesting concept, and though it seems like that could get boring after awhile, it never did. I enjoyed Unfriended and thought the deaths were pretty creative, so I'll definitely watch the sequel when it comes out.
