Since September 2016, strange things have been going on in the house where serial killer Ted Bundy grew up...doors and cabinets opening on their own, furniture falling over, things like "help me" and "leave" showing up on windows and floors, etc. There were no reports of paranormal activity before last year, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to conclude that it started because the new owner was renovating the house and a ghostly resident didn't like it. I couldn't find any information on whether anyone has died in the home, so who's haunting the house? Could it be Ted Bundy? People have claimed to see his ghost at Florida State Prison (where he was executed) and Florida State University's Chi Omega house (where he killed two women in 1978), so why not his childhood home?

Movie Spotlight: The Bye Bye Man
The Bye Bye Man is a 2017 movie starring Douglas Smith, Lucien Laviscount, Cressida Bonas, Doug Jones, Carrie-Anne Moss, Faye Dunaway, and Jenna Kanell. When three friends (Douglas Smith, Lucien Laviscount, and Cressida Bonas) learn about the legend of the Bye Bye Man, they find out that the only way to make sure they don't fall victim to his curse is to avoid thinking it or saying it. Unfortunately for them, the Bye Bye Man is already in their heads and has the power to control their thoughts and force them to do horrific things.
The Bye Bye Man started out with a bang (literally) that got me interested immediately, but the rest of the movie didn''t live up to the beginning. Reviews of the movie were pretty negative, but I thought it was okay; The Bye Bye Man probably isn't a movie I'll remember for a long time, but I enjoyed it for what it was and didn't feel like watching it was a waste of time.
My rating: 6/10

Ghostly Pets
I've heard many stories about pets coming back to visit their owners after death, and I wish my Layla (my dog who passed away in 2013) would come visit me, but she never has. Here are some stories from people who have been visited by their dearly departed pets, and if you've ever experienced it for yourself, feel free to leave your story in the comments. : )

Movie Spotlight: Rings
Rings is a 2017 movie starring Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Vincent D'Onofrio, Aimee Teegarden, and Bonnie Morgan. It's the third movie in The Ring series, following 2002's The Ring and 2005's The Ring Two. Julia (Matilda Lutz) is worried about her boyfriend Holt (Alex Roe) when he researches a videotape that kills anyone who watches it. She watches the video in order to prevent Holt's death and soon discovers that there's a movie within the videotape that has never been seen before.
When I first saw The Ring, I thought it was the scariest movie I'd ever seen (it has since been replaced by Red State as the movie that terrifies me the most)...the part where Samara comes out of the TV freaked me out so much that I covered my TV with a blanket before I went to bed that night. Rings is a decent movie, but I didn't think it was scary, and it wasn't as good as its predecessors. I did think the actors were great though, and I liked the ending.

Happy National Paranormal Day!
Some of us celebrate the paranormal on a regular basis, but for those of you who only want to celebrate it once a year, today is National Paranormal Day! If you need some help deciding what to do for Paranormal Day, here are some ideas:
https://www.ilovehalloween.com/2016-national-paranormal-day/
A word of advice: maybe don't celebrate by using a Ouija board...sure, nothing bad might happen, but have you ever heard of any good coming from using a Ouija board? ; )
